This storefront is built to run on Shopify, but no store is connected. Until the steps below are complete, the order page shows a clearly labelled non-live state and cannot accept an order or take payment.

1 · Create or connect the Shopify store

Set up the Shopify store that will hold products, pricing, inventory, tax and shipping. Nothing in this project creates a store or assumes one exists.

2 · Create a Storefront API access token

In the Shopify admin, create a custom app with Storefront API access (read products, read/write carts) and copy the storefront access token.

3 · Store the two credentials as project secrets

SHOPIFY_STORE_DOMAIN (your-store.myshopify.com) and SHOPIFY_STOREFRONT_TOKEN. Both are read server-side only — no credential is hardcoded in source or shipped to the browser.

4 · Clear each item for sale, then map its variant

Only after the owner's own regulatory review, add the Shopify ProductVariant GID for that item in src/data/shopify-variants.ts. Unmapped items stay catalogue-only with no checkout path.

5 · Configure shipping, tax, returns and payments in Shopify

Checkout is hosted by Shopify, so transit times, taxes, refunds and payment capture are governed there — not by copy on this site.

Listing an item in the catalog is not a decision to sell it. Any compound that may require regulatory review must stay unmapped in the variant file until the business has cleared it, and no therapeutic, dosing, or human-use claims may be added anywhere.
